THE KID IN US!
BARBIE BARBIE BARBIE!!!
Can you remember those days when, your mom used to bring you to 'Toys R Us' and say.... "Only one toy today ah! Be a good girl!"... and how that never happens! We always used to end up crying... Till today when i walk into 'Toy R Us' I still feel what i used to feel... That excitement!!! That eagerness... Just being so freaking happy... And as we girls did... we looked for the pink area... Yes !!
The Barbie Dolls!!!
We knew that we were going to leave with this pretty blonde in our hands... But which one... Well... Definetly the one with a price tag ranging from S$25 - S$65!
But we were always mesmerized with those gorgeous dolls which had on big, huge and royal gowns which carried that, S$150 price tag.
How our mothers used to brain wash us... by saying the dress wasn't nice or she'd find something pink with glitter which had wings and an extra outfit or shoes... Haha... How they must have lied and how dumb we must have seemed... But I remember always leaving the store with a what if... What if i had bought that doll... How amazing it must have been....
But then again... We would have been so scared to use it... Well yeah... those days were just precious don't you think....

Everything from head to toe was thought about! As in every single detail from Makeup to Hair to the shoes... Everything is just so pretty... I mean the dolls are so well done now that they look like gorgeous 'ang moh' ladies!
Well if only my mom had got me one of these... but hey i had 27 barbie dolls the last time i counted and that was when i was 7! My elder sister must have had around the same amount... And now Aishu... Is collecting her share of dolls!!! Barbie dolls... they are just a beautiful part of every girls life...
